Interior Cab Lights

I can't remember if this started recebtly or if it has been this way since I bought the truck. I have noticed that lately (at night since it has to do with lights) that when I open the truck door (any of them), my interior light stays on for like 30 seconds and then shuts of. I have to turnt he light on or open and clsoe the door again and even then it only stays on for a minute at most.

Is there a way to set how long your interior lights stay on whent he doors are open? Thanks.

I believe there is. I can use my overhead computer on mine to set all kinds of things like interior light delays, horn honk, locking, etc.

Otherwise, I think you still can go through a series of jumping ropes with the key, pedals, etc. to program the computer.

I'm sure someone who's done it that way will tell you shortly.

It has to be done by the dealership. They jacked all of my light settings up when I had the high idle enabled on my 06 then they wanted to charge me $100 to fix it. If you read through your owners manual it will tell you alot of "options" that can be altered by a trip to the dealer. Options like radio staying on until door is opened, interior lights, exterior lights, and some other stuff I can't remember.

Seems to be a common problem. Look at this - https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=217243. Unhook both batteries and wait about 15 minutes then reconnect them. This resets the gauge cluster which controls that function.
