Infinity Factory Stereo

I have the factory infinity stereo in my truck. Are there anythings I can do to beef it up. I don't want to get rid of the factory head unit though. I like the all original look. I would really like to add a couple of small subs under the back seat but I don't know if I can with this head unit. Any ideas?

While the cleansweep is a great product, imho it would be a waste of money just to add subs. By a line level converter and run your rca's directly off one of your front speakers. If you are going to do more than just subs, then I would look at the cleansweep.

I got the cleansweep, and am running 2 sets of the 6.5" infinity perfect componant speakers throught a 300/4 amp. I'm also using a 12" JL 12w6 sub in a center hot box enclosure. The stock headunit sounds great with this setup, and to a would be suspecting thief, there's no high end audio equip visible.

Tap into the front door speaker wires behind each kick panel and use that as inputs to your sub amp. You'll need a line level converter if your amp does not take speaker level input. Do not tap the rear speakers as the Infinity amp does not pass bass frequencies to them.
On the back of the head unit, tap the green wire on Pin 13 for your sub's remote on. There is also a green speaker wire on Pin 10 so make sure you get the correct one. This is from a 2004 wiring diagram so verify it is the same for your year.
