What do you think would it be ok to use, I am having a hard time finding a lift kit or a leveling for a 2wd
Has anybody lifted a 2500 2wd ctd. I am realy regrating not getting a 4x4. Thanks in advance for any comments

On the other hand, you probably don't have the 70mph vibe which plagues most of the SB 4x4 autos. At least you can find some comfort in that.
Regarding lift kits. . . . Check out Daystar. They make leveling kits that use a 2.5" poly spacer. You can even keep the shocks you have. Best part is that it's under a hundred bucks. I was planning on these before I decided on the 4x4.

Last week I had my truck at a suspension shop getting the front end aligned. I struck up a conversation with the owner and he recommended the Daystar 1.5" coil spring lift as the highest he would go. Going higher than that may not be enough adjustments to keep the front end in spec. He installed the Daystars on some 2nd gen Dodges but not a 3rd gen yet. Said he would do mine for $400.

On my 95, 1.5" is all I would go. I tried 2.5", but the tire shop couldn't align it. Also, the 2.5" mad the truck sit nose up, EVEN WITH 2" in the back.
So I hollowed out enough of the spacers to get them down to 1.75", and that is just about perfect with the 2" I put in the back.
Also, shocks are hard to find for a 2wd lifted truck.
I love the way mine turned out, but I don't know if I'd have done it again given the choice. Just too much work with the amount of parts (none) available to change it.
HTH,
Chris
