I usually wash mine once a week. It's been driving me nuts lately because it's been below freezing here. I won't take through an automatic car wash either.

How often?

Like my uncle Mike used to say "Son, I stopped washing 'em when I stopped shifting 'em!"

Take it to the car wash, its a write-off.

Ah, let me see, about 3 months ago...
The weather just doesn't want to cooperate around here.

I hand/bucket wash mine once a week or if it gets really dirty/muddy in between my regular weekly schedule. I also make sure I have completely washed the undercarriage with just water. I vac out at the same time as my wash. I do not go through automatics as the brushes leave scratches. I wax and detail about every 3 months. I live on a dirt/gravel road so the dust is a chronic problem. Nothing destroys your door seals and screws up your hinges faster. I clean and lube undercarriage parts once a month. Because of the hot desert climate I live in, I also take the time to do hoses and such under the hood with a protectant every couple months. If the truck is going down the road it just has to be clean, I'm pretty **** about it.

I know that!! Mine is so filthy that I didnt notice until a couple of days ago that someone had hit my truck and dented the fender behind the driver side rear tire! There was significant dirt over the scratches/flaked paint so I know it has been awhile. I'm afraid to wash it now. I dont want to see the dent in all its glory.

It's black and wants to be washed everytime it gets wet. I am being firm though and only wash it about once every three months if the weather is cooperating. Why wash it if it is going to rain? I just looks dirty 5 minutes later anyway. I agree with shonne, it builds character.

I just took it to a car wash and sprayed it down. It was a mess from the salt/sand on the highway. I plan on washing it when it's warmer outside.

I have the arizona edition ram, it is allergic to water. I figure the film of dust and soot is better UV protection than turtle wax. You see, by not washing it regularly I am prolonging the life expectancy of the paint. I need a bigger garage!

Handwash truck once a week here. Now that the weather is below freezing, I just turn up the heater in the garage and wash away.....only to get up the next morning and take her down the road and cover her up with road salt and slush . Seems like we have some sort of precipitation every couple days. I may start taking a picture after I wash it and put it on the console as a reminder of what it looks like clean. It's definitely time consuming and once I start washing I can't wait until I'm finished!

For me it depends on the weather. Generally about every two weeks and maybe even three if we have no rain and only dust.
Most times I do it myself, but I can take it down the road and have it hand washed and dried for about $3. As this guy does such a good job I normally give him $4.

It was nice today. I just spent the last 3 hours washing, waxing, and polishing. With all the snow melting it'll take 2 second to dirty it back up.

Western Washington has a daily rinse cycle.
Works well.
And better this year then the past few years.

I'll wash mine again in March, weather permitting.
