DWiggs did have a nice truck built. That's for sure.

I've dumped a couple grand in mine doing mostly comfort and convenience mods. I'm pretty much done with the performance stuff. Just trying to make mine do it's job the best it can. I've done just about every cheap mod available to it too.

Smarty, Delete Pipe, EGR mod, EGT & Edge Insight, AMP retractable steps, wheel well liners, mud flaps, mud mats, bed liner, brake controller, S&B Intake, bug deflector and a bunch of other niceties for the inside/outside. I figure about $3K so far with more to come for sure... I haven't even done rims/tires yet!

Don't ask me how much I spent completely restoring my 71 K5 Blazer though!

Is this external tank heater installed on the factory fuel tank or an aux fuel tank? I would like to install an oil pan heater & a fuel tank heater. Where did you get yours at?

Well I purchased my truck to make pulling my bigger 5th wheel easier. I have had it for 4 months, found you YOU GUYS and since then have just over 6,500.00 into it. I am sure it would have worked fine stock but, this programmer lead to that and so on....

So I need a Pac brake, towing torbo<not really but will get 1, and air dog lift pump, then im done. or till these are done then maybe alittle more.
So another 3k or so soon.

Very addicting, and enjoy doing my own work.

WOW, who started this anyways............

Bought my truck back in '06 for $37 grand and some change. I don't know the exact amount on mods, but I'm sure it's about half of what I bought the truck for. And more mods on the way! Beer and the truck are about the only vice I have! I know the wife does not like what I do with the truck, but she does know the house is paid for, as well as all the vehicals, including her SRT8 Charger! I try to do my mods a little at a time, so not to upset her about how much I've dumped into the truck!

Not sure if I want to add it up.

$4000 tires and rims
$2400 road armor bumper
$4000 8" lift kit
$600 bushwacker flares
$600 nfabs
$500 edge juice w/ attitude
$300 AEM intake
$200 slip tank
$200 mud flaps
$90 rear wheel well liners
$600 aftermarket double din navi
$300 subs and box
$300 amp
$300 JL speakers

Wow thanks for making me add it up, I didn't know i've spent about $15,000 on my truck Not to mention how many parts i've bought and sold to go to something else and lost money on.

Sad part is, I am not even close to done, I could spend another $15,000 and still want more, as I want performance stuff soon....

Some more mods coming soon are mega cab dually fenders, and something for my front fenders to cover up my new 38x15.50 tires. Probably gonna be into this for atleast another $2,000.....Just never ends.....

Although it's a good reminder I really need to inform my insurance company and get some additional coverage.

Ya, I'm up in the top percentage here...well over the price of the truck in mods. I plan on keeping it forever.

Plus, most of the mods were for better fuel mileage and longevity, so I'm sure they'll pay for theirselves!
