How to fix auto window cable

My cable on my power rear sliding window broke. It looks like it snapped right at where it contacts the window on the pass side. What do you have to do to fix it? Would this be something that I could fix or would it be better to take it to the dealer and pay my 100 dollar deductable on my extended warranty?

I've never done one myself, but I have had the interior out of the back of my cab, and it didn't look like it could be that complicated to repair...

I can't really tell if the little fitting broke in half, or if it just came undone.

Anyone else have this happen yet?

Did you ever get your power rear slider fixed? If so can you buy the center sliding track or do you have to replace the entire window? My truck has the same problem.
