my personal preference is the RB 1. it has good power and it's made by alpine. it has a lot of great features and you can add an amp later if you want just by using a line out converter. plus it is a factory radio so it won't be as noticable to a thief.

here are a few pics.

what do u mean by "stereo"? Just the headunit or an entire system (subs, amps, etc.)?

if just a headunit, look at pioneer premier, alpines, or even better, eclipse..........depend what you want (display, power, mp3 capability........)

not really sure your budget or what features your looking for, but since your going to power your new speakers of the HU I would try to see if you could get a deal on an Alpine 9815 or 9835. These are last years and the year befores' high end models and many shops are trying to get rid of them for the newer 9855 (no real difference, just the display).

Both of those models will play audio cd's, CD-R's, MP3 cd's, and can work w/ an IPOD adapter.

Again, dont really know your budget and desired features but you cant go wrong w/ either of those.

I have a Pioneer head unit from Circuit City , 150 bucks installed . Plays mp3's,wma and whatever you can think of . Bought 2 amps from Etronics online , Pyramid 1000 watt 4 channel for under a 100 bucks and another 600 watt 2 channel for subs . Sony xplod speakers and Pyle 10 inch subs . Grand total was right at 500 clams .

Check out Crutchfield.com There are a limited number of stereo units that will fit in a stock Chrysler product without a modification kit.
