I am still looking for a truck, I found two on auto trader and just what some opinions on witch one you might purchase, the first one is a 2007 5.9 with 207,000 miles on it. The pictures make it look real good just wondering if that is to many miles they want 15,965 for that truck. The other one is a 2004 with 180,000 on the clock and also looks real good judging by the pics they want 12,995. I want a daily driver and also something I can tweek up to mabye pull at the local fair but nothing serious, I tow very little nothing major. Any help would be greatly appreiciated.

 

Get the 2007 5.9... It is the last year the 5.9 was produced.
More than likely somebody with that mileage on a 2007 was hauling hot shot freight and most of the miles were freeway towing.
Could affect transmission, maybe injectors. Call and see if you can get history. I would not be scared of the mileage, with care these last a long ways past 200K.

 

I completely agree with Mr.Bee! And also the 07 is the newer body style and completely different interior
