heated seat switch light on 2006 mega

Any body have a clue on how to repair the light for the heated seat switch on a mega laramie? I took all the dash apart, pulled the switch, even took the switch apart, and can't seem to see how its lighted. The little LED's that indicate high or low work fine, just the bulb that lights the face of the switch at night is out. Do I have to change the whole switch? That little sucker looks pricey

My guess is you will need a new switch.

Correct new switch needed. I had the light on the drivers side go out and the dealer said it was a soldered LED and the whole switch needed to be replaced. I was lucky because it happened under warranty.

Crap-ola. I was thinking that was the problem. Just wanted to be sure. I'll check that out. Hopefully he is not to pricey. Maybe I can one online cheaper than my local dealer.
