Will a factory '06 grill bolt up to a factory '04 hood?

 

Don't think so.

 

I'll have to compare my father's '05 next to my '08 next time they are sitting next to each other. I was under the impression the hoods were identical between 03-05 and 06-09. If so, i can't see why the grille wouldn't swap over. Keep in mind you would also need the 06-09 front bumper for it to work, which means you would also need the 06-09 headlights AND the 06-09 front fenders. Kinda a snowball effect.

 

The hoods are the same.

 

See, ive been wonderin that as well, but need to find one to measure. I have a road armor frontend, so i dont worry as much about the fender and light problems... There is a huge cutout in the bumper for a winch thats not there yet, so...
