General tires

Time for new tires,73000 on stock General's.I think I will buy 5 new ones.Any one know of a discount warehouse location in central ohio.So far I have found them one line for 133.00 for 235/80/17.I think 73000 is prety good pulling 16000lb fiver half the time.Maybe i'm a freak I have all stock parts except carrier bearing and rear three u joints.

I've had Generals on both my 04.5 & 07.5 duallies, average about 80k each set with a couple rotates and aired up to max. The Generals that came on the 04.5 were RWOL and on the 07.5 were black walls. They were the stock tires that came on each truck however the tread between the two was a little different. I didn't like how the black walls handled in the snow last year, towing or empty, and you'all got quite a bit of snow out there in Ohio last year. SO with the 2nd set of tires for the 07.5 I got the RWOL Generals and we'll see if they do as good on the 07.5 as they did on the 04.5.

Sounds like a good price. I get my tires at a local store for a little more but they rotate at no additional costs, just give the techs a decent tip. Been giving them my tire business for the last 25 years.
