Hey folks, I'm wanting some input here. I've got a 2nd gen so I'm not up on the 3rd gens. My daughter just bought an 04, 4dr, shortbed, 2wd with a 6spd Cummins. Are there any issues to watch out for on these trucks like the 2nd gens. I know mine has the front end, IP/LP, etc... what about hers? It's only got 60k miles on it and still has Dodge warranty and she bought the extended warranty. Let me know so I can warn her if there are any. It's a sweet truck, like to help her keep it that way. lp and ball joints are the main thing that i have heard people comment about. Also keep the fuel filter changed regularly no lees then 12k on it or the injectors will go bad
