Gauge install

I am getting ready to install my gauges in my 06 do I need to put an inline fuse in the keyed 12v power source?

Is Mopar Mist Gray the same color that is in the 06's it says it goes to 02? I have the light gray interior.

I recently install an Autometer electric fuel pressure guage and the directions suggested putting an inline 1 amp fuse on the switched power wire, which I did.

Here's what can happen if you don't! I would STRONGLY suggest it! He wanted to blame the guage which is partly to blame, but a fuse would have eliminated the whole problem. Fuse! Not a circuit breaker or anything but a fuse.

I am not sure but I have the light grey interior and I bought a phantom white rattle can from the local auto paint store and it matched 100% and I got 12 oz for the same price as the Mopar 6 oz. Here is a picture.

Thanks for the links guys that is pretty scary about the guy whos truck almost burned down it is safe to say that I will be putting in an inline fuse, and I will also be adding a few inline fuses in my offroad truck that I just installed gauges in.
