Finance ????

Got a ??? for everyone. Does a cab and chassis truck have any kind of commercial reading in the title or vend ##. The reason I was asking was the the credit union at work will not lend on anything to do with commercial

No, it will just indicate on body style chassis/cab and your lender may ask you why are you getting a chassis/cab, just tell them you want to put a pulling bed for your horse trailer. Lenders FREAK out if they get even the smallest feeling its going to be used commercialy because they know their collateral will have almost no value QUICK and they stand to risk a very large lose if you default.
And will either give you a horrible intrest rate or worse no loan at all.

But ask long as you have a non-commerical answer to when they ask why you want a cab/chassis you shouldn't have a problem as long as its 1ton or below. When leaders see a 1 1/2 ton they know your not buying it to take the boat the lake on sunday

I am checking right now with the dealer, insurance and credit union. I am going to give them a vend # of a ch cab and see if it throughs any red flags.

Most lenders will consider a 1 ton a commercial vehicle.
