Electrical Glitch

So today both my dimmer switch, and washer switch quit working. My headlights are stuck on high, and windshield washer doesn't work either. The wipers work in "wipe" mode but when I push for wash the wipers stop working and the pump doesn't make any noise. I was messing around under the dash a couple of days ago while installing some amp steps, it seems like the wiring from the multi switch should be on the opposite side of the column from where I was working. Should I just order up a new multi-function switch or is there anything else common (harness or something) in these two circuits?
