Has anyone installed an electric tailgate lock? If so, what brand are you using? I have seen a couple of different brands and one uses a relay wired directly to the battery and the other brand grabs power directly from the door lock circuit. Any opinions would be appreciated.

 

I have one that connects to the door lock circuit. Been using it now for 2 years with no issues. Can't remeber the brand name. Which ever you select I'm sure will serve its purpose.

 

Mine connects to the door lock circuit bought on ebay works great price was around $65 .

I used the Pace-Edwards one. Just Google electric tailgate lock and you'll get a bunch...
