Early 04 headlight issue
I have lost the dim on the driver side. Both work on bright, dim on the pass side works. I thought it was a bulb issue. I replaced both bulbs with sylvania silverstars still no dim on drivers side.
Any ideas?

I had the same issue: no driver's side low beam, High beam on both sides ok. Then I noticed that my trailer receptacle did not work for running lights. Bought a tester to verify if the receptacle or trailer was faulty.....verified it was the receptacle. Took my rig to a mech and he jerry rigged the receptacle to work, but it only worked for a little while and reverted back to no running lights on my trailer. Again, verified that the receptacle was the problem and it was.....Got sick of all this and replaced my TIPM with a refurbished one from MAKS, tipmrebuilders.com and replaced my TIPM. All problems solved, including the driver's side double tap unlocking feature (It would lock fine, but would not unlock. If you locked the doors with the key fob and unlocked with the key, the alarm would trip). Now everything is back to normal, no more "lamp out" warning on the dash display finally! The cost was not cheap at $629.59, but worth it not to have uncertainties lingering. You mail back your old TIPM, as a core exchange (postage paid) and the deal is done. Overall, happy that I am back to normal headlights haha! MAKS lets you notify them of your VIN to make sure you get the correct module too. I Chose them as they were close to my location in CA and the module came the next day. Hit me up with any questions on the process, though it is pretty straightforward. Their phone system is highly automated and I only got thru to a "real person" once out of 4 calls. On a side note, the automated voice sounds super real, like a real person talking to you (I even asked it if she were a real person and it answered back "no, I am an automated system"....freaky!!
