Dune Grappler tires
Dune Grappler tires
Hey guys,
I need new tires soon and was thinking of going with the 305/70 17 Dune Grappler. It's E rated , 33.82" tall. Just a little smaller than what I have now which is the 305/70 17 E Terra Grappler at 33.98" tall.
OOrrrr I could throw looks out the window and go with the 285/70 17 E rated Dura Grappler 32.79" tall and hope for a little better mileage and better towing.
In case you haven't noticed I'm a Grappler fan.
thanks for any and all input.

I dont know anything about the new duragrappler, but I have Toyo OC 285/75/17 34" tall 11" wide, fill wheel wells nice, ride nice, real quiet, and a load range of 3970 a tire. Make sure you think of this one before buying.

I think alot depends on what you are doing with your truck. I don't have any firsthand experience with the Dune Grappler but have spoken with 2 different owners who have said that their Dune Grapplers are getting terrible mileage and are wearing faster than the Mud Grapplers. Take that for what it's worth, but if you are happy with the TG's and have the truck primarily on the highway, i wouldn't mess with a good thing.
