dual climate?

Hi, I was wondering if Dodge uses the same heater core for dual zone and single zone trucks. sort of like the fog lamps in my year, if you have a relay, everything is there, you need lights and switch and then you have fog lamps.

I would like to convert my 2003 slt from single zone climate control to dual zone and wonder if you can just swap the controls or if there is something more.

I was reviewing the service manual and can't see any specific detail about single zone and dual zone except for blend door actuators and the control unit.

anyone tried this yet? anyone know if it works? If I could find a control cheap I would be willing to try it.

what do you guys think?

Probably not the news you wanted to hear, but I have dual zone with heated seats, and my wife was still always cold this past winter (and I was always hot). Not really any difference to my 05 that didn't have dual zone.

Separate fan speeds would really help, but Dodges don't have that capability. I think GM does.

I am not a big Chevy fan, but I have to say they seem to have interior comfort down to more of a science than Dodge.

Can you switch these out or not. I was hoping someone would know or have done this before.
