I got around to attempt to adjust my door using the 4 mounting bolts attaching the hinges to the door.

No luck. looks like all 4 are built with an adjustment slot in them but the very top and bottom slot of the 4 in the hinges has a regular round hole washer welded(??) to the hinge.....meaning i'll probably have to take the door off and make those 2 holes oblong.

I didn't have anyone around to help so i put it all back together. In my frustration i tried the trick my friends had told me....as in jerk on the top of the door frame. Nothing broke, but its hard to tell if it moved. I'll know in a day or two.

Is there a torque spec when tightening the post adjustment or just good and snug?

Sorry I didn't update yesterday but went out drinking for St. Patricks day. Drove down 95 today at a high speed and did not hear any wind noise after adjusting the door post. I think this worked. the trick is to get it in far enough for the door to close snug but not to allow it to stick in past the rear door.M aybe the post moves over time on its own because I had no wind noise for the longest time from factory....
