i noticed this morning when i opened my door the plastic door latch asm that mates to the truck door appeared to be kinda loose? the asm moved away from the door 1/32"?. i might pull the interior door cover and check some screws! any input?

 

Why dont you take it to your dealer and make them do it???

 

Mine's done that a little too. I thought it was caused by lightweight sheet metal in the door skin.

I'm interested in what you find out when you go in.

 

its easier for me just to do it in my garage than take it in to the dealer.

i popped the interior door cover off and guess what! the handle asm. is TIGHT. it's just the thin sheet metal door! all i can say is i hope the crap stays out of the inside of the door.
i will certainly not yank to hard on the door handles man that seems kinda flimsy.

 

Mine does it too. Checked about 6 trucks on the lot before I accepted mine and every one did it on the front doors but not the back. Strange....

 

Mine too, checked all my doors, it is mainly the driver's door. The back seem snug. Don't recall the front passenger. I am used to it now.
