I live just East of you in the Coachella Valley. My mom's Mercedes has all that cabin filtration stuff and it doesnt smell any different or get any less dust, or seem any different at all than my truck does inside

Man, if anyone knows dust it would be in Coachella
The smell in the Ford was from the bacteria in the filter and the poorly designed airbox which traps moisture.

I had one... It worked well at filtering, but had a lousy attaching method that was broken when my first one arrived, and the second one broke in a matter of several thousand miles.

I used external types on the Freightliners I drove. Parked in a truck stop with 158 other idling trucks -- and no breeze -- it cut the worst of the diesel completely; that is, I couldn't smell it in the truck anymore.

Any help beats no help. I plan to use them on mine after I clean the evaporator and casing. If it only cuts gross-sized particles that's still a good thing on plenty of days or over plenty of miles. Even if I have to mod it to work "correctly".
