The procedure is in your manual.... a combination of key turns and seat belt maneuvering. You have to be fast and it'll take more than one attempt unless you memorize the process

grab a bic pen [or stick of some sort], with the door open, use the pen to trip the door latch so the latch is in the locked position... the dinger will stop... just make sure to open the latch before trying to shut the door...

geez, reminds me of an old truck I had, when I was running rough, you hit the dash twice, the steerign wheel once, stomp the floor followed by another crack at the dash, two quick pumps of the gas and a few choice words not fit for young viewers and it would run fine...

edit, btw, pull the switch from the body, disconnect the ground wire from it and you will not have that problem. but you interior light wont come on automatically either.

If you think the dodge door chime disable is tough, you should see the procedure for my Ford Focus. It's 2 pages long!

That's for the seatbelt chime, but that doesn't deactivate the door chime.

....to disable the seatbelt chime, you can also plug the middle seatbelt end into the driver's receptacle. I've done that because I didn't have enough patience to get the procedure in the manual to work. One of these days I'll try again though.

If anyone knows how to disable that door chime though, that would be great!
