I wonder if Debadging might thwart thieves? If someone were looking for a 2500 Cummins it might be enough so they don’t notice your truck if they were in a hurry or at a distance?

Mine were all gone in a week. I thought it looked funny with the power wagon flares.

All sorts of reasons for de-badging & none for not, IMO! Take a look at my truck pics in my photo gallery. Both my '03 hemi and '04 CTD are done as have been the previous ('96 Sport, '96 Laramie). I left the engine badges on, but took everything else off. Looks better, easier to wash & wax, less nooks and crannies for junk like salt to collect in, not advertising for DC.

Another vote for de-badging!!!!!!
Take a look at the pics in my profile for an '06 with all the badges taken off. I've even considered taking off the black door ding guards but I know they will be a pain-in-the-a$$ to get off. Anyone with pics of their truck with these taken off?

Anyone have pics of a white debaged '03-'05? Debating really hard but would like to see the outcome first.

Thanks
Michael

Since my truck was a utilitarian purchase, the badges have little impact on it's worth to me. It runs fine, and that's my only real concern. Although if one were to fall off I would make an effort to reattach it.

I removed all the badges on the chevy I used to drive, now this thread got me thinking about doing it to my dodge. Im thinking maybe everything except the cummins badge and the ram on the tailgate "3500lly"
This is exactly what I am debating. I think the sides and tailgate would look a lot less cluttered.

Does anyone have an 06 debadged Inferno Red??? If not, maybe I'll be the first

I find it a real pain trying to clean and wax in and around the emblems. I would like to have the old style where they are flat on the surface.

Remove them all... That is unless Dodge is your sponser...
I removed all but the "C" emblem on the fenders and the Rams head below the tailgate. Love the clean look!!

Before:

De-Badged with 325/65R18's and a leveling kit, changed to Sport Appearance Package (de-chromed).

I haven't removed the decal on the back yet...still debating. I took off the Cummins emblem, but thinking about putting it back on. However, most people know it's a diesel when they see the smoke

I'm thinking about debadging mine and just buying two big Cummins "C"s for each fender.
