Dash vent removal Passenger side

How do you remove the grill/vent thing for the AC on the passenger side dash (08 Mega 2500)? My 2.5 yr son has put 10+ mini fuses in there while I was packing the truck this morning. The fuses will be able to work back into the fan, correct? I thought of a magnet, but i think the fuses are aluminum, so that wont work.

I should have seen this comming. All weekend we had to keep an eye on him. He kept putting rocks in the water hose and exaust on the campers generator.

Wont make it to the fan. The dash vents are above the housing where the fan is.

Youd prolly have to remove the dash to get the duct off of the vent.

I think I deal with the noise for a while if all it will do is rattle around. I really do not want to remove the dash unless there is something major is wrong.

Yes he is a treaure, don't know what I'd do without him. The other day I was putting on airbags on the truck. He decided to take every 3/8" socket out calling them "batteries". He did put them in order from small to large, which was impressve and found the correct socket to fit the bump stop bolt i removed from the 1/4" socket set. He may be usefull in a few years, but for now, I try and do most of my wrenching when he is taking a nap or after bed time.

Put some gum on a stick. Or use some double stick tape on a stick. Or maybe contact adhesive on a stick. Might get some out that way.

Kids. The greatest thing on earth! Sounds like you have your hands full!

The fuses will likely stop at the top of the HVAC case.

How about a small tube and a shop vac?

Otherwise, I think you will have to pull the dash. Not that complicated, but time consuming.
