I recently purchased an 06 Ram with an overhead computer. On my 01 Ram that I used to own, the overhead cumputer would give you a reading of not only the average miles per gallon between refills, but also give you the current MPG at any give time. Does the 06 not have this feature or do I just not know how to find it? Thanks

The 06 does not have that feature. But if you want to know your instant mpg. just reset the overhead while you are cruising down the road. were it stops moving is your instant mpg.

 

my 98 dakota has it...not sure why dodge did away with that feature...probably didnt want us gettin more depressed

 

That feature is really helpful, knowing what you're doing when you drive minute to minute. Don't know why they left it out on the 06. Its dumb if you ask me. My 04 Durango does not have it either. xxxxx me off when I bought it.
