Pretty sure that my Brand new 99 had one. My current (bought used) 2003 has no cup holder illumination with the running lights on. Is it supposed to have? sure is dark around the cup holder, and don't like the thought of spilling lava all over if i miss the holder.

I removed the cup holder yesterday (for cleaning) and did not see anything in the cavity above it in the form of a light.

Edit: there is a light (lamp kit 04565022 ) DISCONTINUED, no longer available.

If you have line on an old stock parts place, please help!

You might want to check that part number. A google search says that is the glove box switch/light. I did some looking and think you may be looking for 55361226AA. Do a search here and there are a few threads with it listed.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to verify that number before i posted but, yeah, that number, 55361226AA is dead too...

Bit of good news though, The engine compartment light, 56021441, and the wiring harness 56051176AC (if you didn't already have a light) are still available!

When i was rebuilding an old Honda CR, some parts were the same as other years but had different numbers. Honda would discontinue the part # without notice that the other part was identical. I wonder if this is what Dodge is doing since you can get some parts (in seemingly the same category) but not others.

Anyone know of any possible cross reference of this cup holder lamp??
