Conversion Sleeper

I was told by a guy I pull with that he read about a conversion sleeper for the rear of a dodge. Supposedly the only thing you do is unbolt the right rear door and replaced it with a fiberglass door that gives you about 12 more inches and is a DOT approved sleeper then. Has anyone heard of this

I just put some boards across the 2 tier loading slots in the bed and cut a couple of 23/32" thick boards on that. W/ a shell, it works great for camping if that is what you're thinking ..
