Cloudy Headlights ??

I just came across this the other day.

I have the 3M polish & cleaner that is supposed to remove the cloudiness from the plastic headlights lenses. it does a good job (cost 20 bucks for both bottles tho).

BUT...

Wenol metal polish (the red tube) does an AWESOME job ! It made the headlights on my car look almost brand new, easily did the job twice as good as the 3M stuff, and it costs 1/3 the money (8 bucks for a 4 oz tube)!!

Summit sells it, as I know I haven't seen it local.

Less than 5 minutes of work with a paper towel and a couple of dabs of polish the size of a dime, and the headlights now pass inspection with flying colors.

just a tip I felt like passing on

Another inexpensive abrasive is toothpaste. It will work, is gentle, and smells good too!!

Another cleaner used by a lot of used car dealers is "Mothers Chrome Polish". It will make the "yellowed" look turn back to clear.
