clean up

Whats the best way to clean up used diesel oil spilled on a cement driveway? I cleaned up the oil with mineral spirits but the driveway is still black. I tried many grease removers, Dawn soap and bleach. The oil is gone from the 50 year old cement, but not the black!

Welcome to DTR. Have you tried Simple Green? Another 'trick' is to use Coke (cola).

Next time you change your oil, consider installing one of these to replace your drain plug. I drain my oil directly back into the empty gallon jugs from last change. Instant on, instant off. No drip. Good luck.
Back to morning brew . . .
