The chrome on my plastic SLT chrome grill is starting to delaminate. I have read the owners manual regarding body warranty, but it only talks about body panel corrosion, and nothing about chrome trim.

Has anyone had their grill warrantied? If so, do you know the warranty period for this part? My truck has 75k miles on it, so I have a feeling I will be paying for a new one. No big deal, just wanted to see if there is a chance I could warranty it before DC completely tanks...

 

you'd have to drive up there to get a new one anyway, just stop by service first and ask. you catch more bees with honey than vinegar, so keep that in mind when talking to the service writer.
