Driving down the interstate this afternoon and got a check gauges warning w/chime. Charge meter reading 8. I pulled off, belt was good. Batteries were reading 11.92 volts. I turned everything off and got it the 40 miles home. When I checked the batteries again the voltage had gone up to 12.01.

I guess the alternator finally took a dump.

 

New alternator installed, about an hour to R&R. The best part was being able to get to the tensioner from the top. Easy peasy.
