Changes underneath . . .

Was under the new beast today while it was getting outfitted with the aux. fuel tank & 5th wheel. For those of us who have lived thru the 75 m.p.h. vibration on the 4.5's, guess what?!?! No more 2 piece driveshaft or carrier bearing. That is one HUGE driveshaft!!
Also noted a heck of alot more insulation, sound deadening and weatherstriping on the 07 compared to my 04.5. I think they changed the top of doors as they stick up past the roof a little. Not that I want to see anymore snow, but I think they may have eliminated the "snow in the lap" problem when opening the door. I don't mind waiting til next winter to find out for sure.
The more I look, the more I like the improvements on the 07.

sorry, you will still have some snow in the seat. Not too bad, but enough to wipe it away!

My 07 LB has a one piece HUGE driveshaft. Looks almost 2x the diameter of the 04.5 two piece driveshaft.
