Break Dust

Guys I'm looking for a good cleaner to get the break dust off my front wheels. I tried a couple brands and they didn't get it all. I still have a yellow tint on them. Just wanted to know if anyone had a secret solution to get them show room clean. Thanks

Any wheel cleaner will take the brake dust off..lFollow it up with Simple Green. Do you have cast wheels. It may have a clear coat that is starting to yellow? i ahve the standard chrome wheels and they are real easy to clean...Mike

Yes I do have the cast alluminium wheels. The yellow or brown staining is what won't come off. I'll just try scrubbing them. Thanks.

I use Wheel Magic and regular car wash soap. First I spray all of the wheels down with Wheel Magic and let them sit for a few minutes. Then I use a scrub brush dipped in soad and scrub the wheels really well. Then just rinse them and they look great.
