Bilstein?????????????

Did a search and was still confused.

Which Bilstein shocks? Yellow or the black and silver? My truck is stock suspension.

Thanks in advance!

Silver and black are for lifted trucks.

txarrowhunter....Why are mine silver? The yellow Bilstein shocks are the basic shock from Bilstein...Once you get to the Silver models these are the upgraded versions typically used for lift kit applications.

yellow(6100series) ones on the back of my truck and the silver(5100 series) ones on the front because i have a leveling kit. had a set of 5100's on the back before-but when it was time for new shocks i went this route this time. i think the 6100's firm up the back of the truck a little better than the 5100's-but it may all be in my mind.

You may want to check out the new 5150 little piggy back reservoir shocks as well. They seem to be a great reasonably low priced shock at just over $100 a piece.
