I've ridden in an '07 w/285-75-17 Toyo MT's. The exhaust was opened up minimally and you could barely hear the MT's. They are the quietest out there and balance well.

I'm on second set of Toyo MT open country's 35's and they are a great tire, mninimal road noise for a MT, they seem to last forever and they look great too, yet one down side is they are expensive.

Death Dealer, I have loooked at the hankooks that you have, the 315s look like the limit, I see you have no fascia under the front bumper, Im guessing they wont clear it, do they rub on the inside at all?

I don't know if the tires will clear a front fascia, I took it off when I bought the truck because I thought it and the center caps looked ridiculous. These tires do rub slightly and I mean slightly on the lower control arm at full lock.

Agreed on the hubcaps, they protrude an obnoxious amount, you would think they could have engineered them to be a bit more low profile.

I think they could rub just a bit on the control arm at full lock but I don't think it'll be enough to bother me much.

The truck suspension is all stock but I'll probably get a lift kit within the next year.
I ran Toyo 35's on 17" Ultra Motorsports wheels (not sure of the backspacing). They rubbed near the bottom front of the wheel-well liner (about an inch in from the fender) pretty good. This is with a Kore 2" leveling kit too. It annoyed me enough that I went back to 285's when I bought new tires... YMMV...

Thanks for the replies. I really want to get the Toyo MT, but wasn't sure how loud it was going to be. Sound level varies so much between the different manufacturers.

Mine are still on and will stay on there but I will say that the caps are the one thing that turns me off about the fctory wheels.

I kind of like how they stick out a bit. I will admit though, that when I had my H2 wheels on the old 03, the cut down caps did look better...

The look good on my H2's though...

I love the way the rear hub looks exposed. Very old school. The front looks pukey though. I plan to remove all hub covers once I get an EMS hub kit, which won't be for a long time.
