Try Mr. Clean magic eraser. Take off everything but the glass like magic.

Another vote for bosch icons, their kinda pricey and funny lookin, but they hold up to the texas heat pretty good.

 

Anybody found some good wiper blades made in the USA? I looked at everything in the major parts stores a few months ago buying wipers for the wife's Honda, the closest things I found were Mexico and Belgum (Bosch Icon). Are the silblades made in the US? My 06 needs wipers soon. Phoenix summers are brutal on wiper blades because it's hot and dry. I usually buy some mid grade wipers and replace every year or two.

 

I also use Bosch icons. Worth the money

Update from my last post. I have now run the Bosch Icon's for 2 full years and just now replaced them. Probably could have gone a bit longer but oh well. It sure beats changing wipers every 3 months. I'll definitely will buy them again.

 

I've had the Rain-x Latitude's on since March of 07' and their still wiping more than adequately. I have to say I'll definitely buy them again.

 

I've been through ICONS, Anco Contours, and now Wal-Mart Michelin brand. All three were the new style sprung metal with no frame work. I am EXTREMELY picky and sensitive to wiper noise. All three wipe great, but the quietest in low moisture situations was the Wal-Mart blade. Go figure only 9.95 per blade and they look way better than you would think.

All of these wipers were sampled over the last few months so this is not a two year old review of the products. My personal opinion and everyone else around my town whom have tried the ICONS hates them. I liked the look and wipe, but the noise / chatter under a mist was horrible. I'll stick with these Michelins for a while.

Researched this a lot and decided to buy Rain X blades. Yes they are $15.95 but I really like them. Quiet and wipe the glass perfectly clean.

 

Bought some at Costco. Made by Goodyear. Also made in USA. They don't skip and they are all weather (good in the snow).

 

Put on a set of Goodyears purchased at COSTCO a month ago, they work great with all the coastal storms we been having lately, highly recommended.

 

i had them bosch icons and the **** end caps flew off both wipers, and after a winter up here they didnt work very well. maybe i just had a bad set, or i should just peel them end caps off and super glue them on before they are on the truck

 

No problem. My Icons have been on my truck for over a year with no problems. But, to be fair, it hasn't rained significantly in that time either. As far as noise and skipping - they're WAY better than the OEMs were.
