Can anyone give me a link to where I can purchase the spacers spankdog shows in the pic. I found that KORE includes them in their HD kit but can I buy them somewhere as individual pieces?

Thanks guys, I had no idea that was needed with a leveling kit.

LS has been really good about it. If I knew these aftermarket options were cheaper I would have mentioned that to them. Oh well, hopefully I won't have a problem with the stock ones bending. If I do, I sure know where to look now!

Call KLM Performance (www.klmperformance.com) They are a distributor for KORE products and thats where I got my leveling kit. Im sure the can get you the blocks seperately. Also check out www.lorenzindustries.com. They also sell the drop blocks or links.

Well, I have not used the blocks and I know many others who didn't use the blocks. I have had zero problems in over 30,000 miles since the leveling kit. No bent links and never a single hint of death wobble.

Probably depends on how you use your truck. Then again, Carli, KORE, and Lorenz all offer sway bar angle correction with their kits so there is probably a reason.

I don't see how lowering blocks for the swaybar are "needed". I can see that without them, you're articulation may be affected, but I could care less about that in my truck as it's not doing any four wheeling.

Can somebody explain to me why we need to lower the swaybar??

Also, if bent links are so expensive to repair, I again don't really see the need to replace them. If you look at the job of a swaybar, I don't think that the endlinks need to be perfectly aligned, but I'm making a lot of assumptions here and would love for somebody to chime in with an informed reply.

The 2" difference does make the angle of the link rod connection different and applies stress at an angle that does not exist in the stock configuration. Granted it is not much of an angle, but if you do any high articulation of the suspension like off road it can cause a problem with the link rods for sure. Better shocks and good alignment will normally be enough if you only drive on the street.

Thanks, I'll give them a look. I called LS tonight and they normally don't install any block as part of the "puck" style kit either. Said they haven't seen any problem but like you guys said it is mostly a probably with higher articulation.

OK Here it goes. DON'T KILL ME NOW But is a sway bar or anti-sway bar just that. To keep your suspention from overloading on one side or the other, preventing body roll and such. These are very important on road cars and they can be preloaded so as to make the suspention tighter for left or right turning. If this is true then its importance would be less significant on a lifted off road venicle.I know in 70,s the muscle cars were being outfitted with them from the factory and some of the manufactors had optional thicker ones for enhanced performance.I do know 1 thing for sure ,when it comes to your suspension components, the angles are important.I'm not sure what the tolerances are, but there are tolerances that if exceded, can screw things up.Just my .02
