He should consider a spray in such as Line-X if he hasn't already, I think they are well worth the money. Just my 2cents

if you haul anything heavy or if anything is dropped it still will dent the box. I went with a 3/4 fir plywood liner. The nice think about it is when I go to sell the truck, pull out the old liner and the box is like new.

I have had spray in liners as well, and they are a very good product, so I guess it all depends on how you use your truck.

Well he needs a bed liner and soes not want to spend the $$$$ on a spray-in liner. I have priced a new one from the dealer for $275, which is less than half of a LWB Line-X job. If there is anyone within 200 miles please let me know. Zip is 27295 in Lexington, NC! Call my Cell phone # this weekend if you have one. Thanks, JB

Check on Craigslist, I see them here all the time for 50 or 75 bucks, sometimes they just want someone to come get them.

Why not go with herculiner. It's much better than a drop in liner. And only cost in the 100.00 neighbor hood. If you do go this way the most important thing is to do a good prep job.

If he absolutely does not want the spray in liner, he should still go to the nearest spray in liner dealer (does not matter which one) because they remove the drop ins all the time and will usually give them to people so they don't have to dispose of them. They will first try to sell you the spray in, but just tell them it is for an old ratty pick up and not worth the money.

That's a fact, Jack! Try a local LineX shop. The shop that sprayed my bed a month or so ago had at least 15 or more stacked in one corner.

I was going to say the same thing. The place I had mine sprayed had at least 20 of them sitting out in the open...as if they expected people to just come and grab them.

Go for the Line-X, you'll regret it if you don't.
