Back-up lights

got pulled over last night for my back-up lights coming on when I put the turn signals on...the clear back up lights flash when I put the turn signal on to the right, also the back-up lights will not come on at all when I put the truck into reverse anyone have issues like this before??
Thanks Brandon

bnelson,

Welcome to the site. Take a little time and fill out your sig line then we will know what type of vehicle you have. Here is the how to on the sig line:

Your problems sound like a corroded / missing ground wire to me..

Did you connect the positive from the lights to the signal light rather than the reverse light positive?

Your reverse lights seem to be tide into you reverse signals
have you had any light work done it to like put a trailer plug wireing or put a headache rack with lights in it that might have been missed connect?
