Back up lights..?
Back up lights..?
I have a question about my reverse lights...
I had some auxillery lights put on under the rear bumper and they worked real great for about 2 months or so, now i have no back up lights at all..is there a fuse for these things some where or should I take it back to the place that wired up my auxillery lights up to fix it? If it is a fuse where can is it and what amp?

i have the white knights, and the thing that causes me trouble is the relay mounted in the enclosure. it gets wet and lasts about 5 months. hopefully when they wired them, they included a relay, and that may have died. or if they just tied the new lights to the factories, check the fuse panels.
i have had kc back up lights on the last three of my trucks- they work flawlessly! you may have a bad ground, corroded wire, etc. when i did this mod- i used plastic wire loom to protect the wiring and used liberal amounts of dieletric grease to prevent corrosion. i would check the fuse first- that is the simplest thing to do- then you need to start tracing the wiring-looking for the problem!
