Looking to put some 295 toyo mts on my rig i have been running dean sxt mud tires for years these toyos seem pretty stout. Whats the good or bad on them?? Thanks

 

SXT MT tires are much quieter and smoother and wear better than Toyo MT. I had them take off Toyo's (my original choice because of looks) and put on SXT MT (second choice after driving for two days with Toyo's) after lift was done (35x12.5x17). Toyo's looked better, but was less functional for me. I like a great ride.

 

Single handedly the worst running tire i have ever driven.... stick with bfg's they are better made, more round and you dont have to go to shwabs to get them..... I remember when schwabs usto be a good company....

 

A buddy of mine ran the Toyo MT's, he barely got 14K out of them. I have ran a total 5 sets of BFG Muds. Those 5 were 33's now I am running 35's. So far they are wearing just as good as the other sets. The worst I have gotten was 35K the best 37K. I am glad I did not switch to Toyo because I almost got on the Toyo bandwagon. Seems to me just because the race gods ran them in a baja race "thats the best tire". I might be wrong?
They can not keep up with the BFG's in the mud I know that for a fact. There just a All Terrain on roids.
BFG's are my choice!
