Anyone ever try the KYB MonoMax? I put these on a '97 Dakota 4x4 and a '01 Ram 1500 4x4. I had well over 50k miles on both sets and they were still like new when I sold the trucks. They really firm up the ride and keep the tires planted. They eliminated the leaning, nose diving, and rear end skipping over bumps. I also run KYB Gas-Adjusts on the cars in my sig and they ride nice.
I just wanted to mention them since I never see anyone talking about them.

KYBs are not as easy to find as Bilsteins, Ranchos, etc. And as you say, very little info is out there on them as far as applications for our trucks.I have been interested in the Mono Maxes, but I have heard that they are mucho firm. What is your opinion of the ride quality?
As for ride quality, I would say very firm but not harsh. They were almost too stiff on the Dakota but good on the Ram. I had several comments from passengers that said they were impressed with the ride and how the truck cornered with almost no lean.
I don't know about the leveling kit application. I bought mine from tirerack.com. I suppose they would know.
