nope.
The factory speakers (especially the 4 speaker system) is crap.
Sorry to say.
Just wait a little longer, and put some nice thump in there at the same time!

I have the same system and I was wondering what setup would give the best overall sound? New head unit and new speakers or factory head unit with amp and new speakers or factory head unit and new speakers with no amp? All I want is descent full range of sound not bass thumping. Anyone have any Ideas or advice?

Thanks

Aftermarket decks wil sound better. Try an Alpine of your choice and pick a good speaker of your choice for the front doors in the $150 range. If it's not enough for you after that, it is very easy to add an outboard amp.

Get an RB1 off ebay. It's an Alpine deck and it is factory. I for one think aftermarket 1/2 din radio's look terible

Put an Eclipse deck in with aftermarket 6 X 9's, but my truck had the infinity system. I had the same problem finding a box so I just built my own. It is just bolted to the top of the compartment of the back seat. two 12's I would recommend putting in a good aftermarket radio alpine or eclipse, but thats my opinion. You can find the factory eclipse speakers on e-bay for maybe 50 bucks. Make sure you put the 3.5's in the dash. They make a huge difference and if you just decide to buy all new speakers you can get a good set for under 50 bucks. Just wire them into the deck with a bass blocker. You don't necessary need an amp for the speakers if you get a good deck. Good luck.
