Alliance Parts?

Has anyone ever heard of 'Alliance Parts'? My local Freightliner shop carries that brand. I can't find anything about it, so I'm wondering if anyone here has heard of them, or knows who makes their fuel filter.

Alliance = Freightliner

I work at Freightliner as an engineer and deal with fuel filters. Alliance is the Freightliner proprietary aftermarket part brand (similar idea as Mopar parts). Obviously we don't make filters so they are made by someone else. The standard Fuel Water Seperator option on all Freightliner trucks is an Alliance filter, which is actually made by Racor (and essentially a model 690). I see in your other thread that you got an alliance filter for your B, not sure who makes that but I would guess its fleetguard since we probably buy what Cummins recommends. In other words - if you bought a Freightliner truck with an ISB in it - our service department would recommend the alliance part for replacement.
