My air bag light came on when I was on vacation.My cruise and horn work so it's not the clock spring.I had a buddy that owns a trans shop put his snap on scanner on it,no codes.Told me it has to go to dealer.My dealer closed.Can someone recommend a dealer in the south jersey area.Thanks.

 

Just a follow up to my air bag light problem.Took truck to dealer didn't fix.Took truck to so called electric wiz.No fix.Wife said I should try a local mechanic.The 3rd time was the charm.He found the short.It was my parking brake.When I used my parking brake it rubbed the wire after 8 years of use it rubbed off the insulation but didn't break the wire.Some heat shrink and wire loom and bend in a bracket.I was told it will never short out again.I hope this helps any of you who have the same problem as me.
