I have the blend trouble too. Seems to always want to come out of the dash vents, even when on the floor setting. I have made a small discovery though. If I turn the fan off, then briefly switch from "floor mode" to "floor and dash vents" (about 5 seconds), then turn back to "floor mode" and turn the fan on 2 clicks, it will blow through the floor and hold. Wierd.
