I thought the same thing when I bought mine, must be 4:10 gears. Couldnt find a sticker or any markings anywhere stating the axel ratio. Finally called Dodge and they said it was 3:73. 70 mph turning 2250 rpms. After much research I found the same numbers that 12pak mentioned earlier. That explained why mine was 2250rpm's at 70 and the boss only turns 2000 @ 70 in his 04 3500.
A buddy of mine in Salt Lake just had a Gear Vendors installed in his truck and he loves it. Said the same thing, 1500 @ 70mph, 1900 @ 95 mph. He went from getting 700 miles out of a tank of fuel to 930 miles out of a tank of fuel.
From what I could tell from their website the prices range around the 3000.00 range. I have read some info that has been posted on this subject and their are mixed opinions on their product. I am waiting on a reply from my friend to see what he thinks of his after he pulls his trailer from Utah to Arizona. Their website is www.gearwendors.com. I'm sure in the towing section some guys might be able to give first hand experience on this.

They probably used the NV's until they were gone, then switched to the G56 as it had already been used in some MB trucks in Europe. Remember, the Cummins equipt rams are all built in one place, not several plants.
