7 pin wiring harness

The dealer installed my 7 pin hookup on the rear bumper. Today, after I installed my B&W turnover hitch, I hooked up my brake controller(Prodigy), and it showed no connection even though the trailer was connected. I traced the harness and discovered a fuse holder containing a good fuse, a red wire hooked to the battery, and a blue wire that was just cut off with no connection. This was all located next to the firewall behind the battery. There is also another connector coming out of the cab with a red and blue wire, however this connector isn't connected to anything. I think this could be the termination for the blue wire but I would like to make sure. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Sorry, can't help, but it sure sounds as tho the dealer did not finish the job or test the plug afterwards. I would take it back and have them not only connect all the wires, or if they are not needed, to cap them off properly. Also have them test every pin on the plug for proper operation.

Thought I would see if anyone had any ideas before I took it back to the dealer. Just hate to waste a half day or more for one wire. I have 1600 miles on the truck now and finally got my gooseneck ball in so I can try out the HO. I pulled 100 square bales on a 16' bumper pull two weeks ago but it was the same as being empty.

They didn't finish the job. Even though there is a brake controller connector there is no brake wire running from the front to the back. The factory wiring stops just behind the driver's side front wheel. Someone needs to read them techs the directions.

Hre is a picture of the unattached blue wire and the red wire connected to the battery. The rear connector comes out of the main group of wires which pass through the firewall. I am wondering if this is where the unattached blue wire should connect. I specifically told them at the dealership I needed to hook my brake controller up for my trailer brakes.
