Thats pretty funny. I am surprised my neighbor dont have one, he runs with shiny dingle ***** hangin on his raised mega dually. As Shrek would say "is he compensating for something"
Put that on the bumper and it would give the photo radar guys an obstacale. I have heard guys say that the DOT here in Alberta have decided that its a 250 dollar ticket to have your hitch in your reciever. The reason, as I was told is that it could fall out. This was from a farmer who was pulled over for something else. The first reason I heard was if your rearended it could hook on to the other vehichle. They just want the money no real reason other then that.

I leave mine in for that reason. I've been rear ended at the drive thru twice with nary a paint chip.

Mine won't fall out. I have a Master lock hitch pin to make sure no one borrows it from me.

weld it in. if that is true it should not be hard to fight in court, they rarely seem to fall out when towing 10K+ trailers. my 12K hitch is held in place with a 5/8 grade 8 bolt, would like for a law enforcement officer to tell me it's going to fall out.
